MetricDash vs. Reportei: cheap per project vs. euros with alerts

Prices verified: July 2026 · All figures without warranty — the providers’ official pricing pages are authoritative

Reportei bills per project (= one client), with unlimited data sources per project — the same basic principle as MetricDash, only cheaper. On the realistic agency tier, Pro, Reportei costs $59/month at 10 clients and $139/month at 30 clients (as of July 2026, from Reportei's live pricing API). Reportei is especially strong in Brazil/LATAM and on social channels.

MetricDash follows the same model — one price per client, sources included — but it's built for the DACH region: billing in euros, budget alerts at 80%/100% and anomaly detection, lead tracking, and dedicated client logins. To be fair: like MetricDash, Reportei is not genuine white-label either (no custom domain, no branded login portal) — on that point neither wins.

We work through both models honestly and say clearly when Reportei is the better choice. All prices as of July 2026, without warranty. MetricDash is currently completely free during the open alpha.

Where Reportei gets structurally expensive or impractical

USD billing

Reportei bills internationally in US dollars. At the low amounts it's less noticeable, but exchange-rate swings and foreign-currency fees remain — a structural point for an agency calculating in euros.

Projects only in steps of 5

Reportei sells projects in fixed blocks of 5. 11 clients mean you pay for 15 projects — you routinely pay for unused capacity. At MetricDash every actual client account counts individually.

The tier hangs on the team, not just clients

The advertised $24 entry (Starter) is misleading for agencies: Starter caps at ~3 users, 1 automation per project, and ~10 integration types (reportedly). Any real team lands on Pro (8 users) or Premium (20 users) regardless of client count — the tier is driven by team size and features, not just clients.

Reliability & customization

Reviews repeatedly cite integrations that disconnect and need re-authentication, occasionally inaccurate or missing data, and misconfigured PDFs. Plus shallow customization: no custom metrics/formulas, no Zapier, no raw-data export (reportedly).

What MetricDash does differently

Euro billing

Fixed price in euros, no exchange-rate risk, no foreign-currency fees. €302 at 10 clients stays €302 — predictable per client, without the detour through US dollars.

Budget monitoring as standard

Alerts at 80%/100% of monthly budget, spend anomaly detection, and lead tracking are in every paid plan at MetricDash. At Reportei, performance alerts are reserved for the Premium tier (reportedly), and there's no budget pacing by default.

Dedicated client logins in the UI

Your clients log in themselves at MetricDash and see their numbers live. Reportei shares dashboards as a live link (only the date range is adjustable) but offers no portal with a dedicated client login. For a continuously visible client relationship, that's a difference.

No step-of-5 rounding

At MetricDash you pay per actual client — account 4 costs €29, account 11 just €19. No rounding up to the next block of 5 like Reportei's project tiers.

When Reportei is the better choice

  • When price decides, Reportei is cheaper: 10 clients on the Pro tier cost $59/month, 30 clients $139/month (as of July 2026, from the live pricing API) — versus €302 and €682 at MetricDash. With unlimited data sources per project, Reportei is hard to beat on price.
  • When you work in Brazil/LATAM or are social-heavy: Reportei brings connectors Western tools lack — RD Station (Marketing + CRM), NuvemShop, Hotmart, Kiwify, Phonetrack — plus broad social coverage. For agencies with that client profile, Reportei is clearly the better fit.
  • When you want automatic AI analysis: Reportei's optional AI variant (~+50%) writes narrative insights per channel and adds assistants. If you want to deliver reports with ready-made analysis text, you get that out of the box at Reportei; MetricDash focuses on automated, standardized reporting without generated prose.

FAQ

What does Reportei cost?

From Reportei's live pricing API (as of July 2026, without warranty): on the Pro tier $59/month for 10 clients and $139/month for 30 clients; Starter $39/$99, Premium $119/$279. The optional AI variant costs ~50% more. Data sources are unlimited per project at no extra cost. MetricDash comes in at €302 (10) and €682 (30 clients).

Is MetricDash cheaper than Reportei?

No — Reportei is cheaper on price alone, and we'll say so honestly. MetricDash makes its case on euro billing, included budget and anomaly alerts, lead tracking, dedicated client logins, and the DACH focus. If the lowest price or LATAM integrations are the deciding factor, Reportei is ahead.

Is Reportei white-label?

No — and neither is MetricDash. Reportei allows logo/colors on reports but no custom domain and no branded login portal, and the Reportei branding isn't fully removable. That matches MetricDash's positioning: portals are logins inside the MetricDash UI, and shareable report pages carry your agency logo. On this point neither wins.

Do I pay per data source with MetricDash?

No — like Reportei, you pay per client, and data sources per client account are unlimited. Unlike Reportei, though, you don't pay in blocks of 5: every actual client counts individually, and just €19 from account 11.

Which integrations does MetricDash offer?

Seven: Google Ads (incl. MCC), Meta Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, plus Rybbit, Plausible, and Umami. Reportei lists '+30 channels' with strong LATAM coverage. MetricDash's catalog is smaller and focused on the DACH/Google/Meta stack — but unlimited to combine per client.
