What's new

We ship improvements to MetricDash continuously during the open alpha — often several times a week. Here are the milestones that are already live.

NewSpotlight

Microsoft Advertising is here

The third major ads platform alongside Google and Meta: campaigns, spend, and performance data from Microsoft Advertising (Bing) — down to the individual hour — in the dashboard, the client portal, and reports.

Bing is often underrated — especially in B2B, click prices there can be considerably cheaper. Now you finally see all three platforms side by side.

Lead analytics rebuilt from scratch

The plain KPI list becomes a real lead journey: a timeline by source with a spend line, an honest funnel with real numbers, campaign attribution with cost per lead and ROAS, a UTM breakdown, and conversion velocity.

Improved

Security and access control hardened

Separation between agencies and clients is now additionally enforced at the database level, deactivated accounts lose access immediately rather than at their next sign-in, and the "Viewer" role is consistently read-only. When connecting self-hosted analytics tools (Matomo, Umami, Plausible, Rybbit), only publicly reachable addresses are accepted.

That last point can affect internal setups: if your instance is only reachable behind a VPN or on a private IP, MetricDash can no longer reach it — you will need a publicly reachable address.

Improved

More robust lead capture

Duplicate submissions of the same lead are automatically merged into one, form messages arrive complete and readable, and source attribution (e.g. Google Ads) is more precise.

New

Webhook guides right in the app

Step-by-step instructions for Elementor, WPForms, Contact Form 7, Fluent Forms, Typeform, and Zapier/Make — including a field reference and a copy-paste snippet that automatically forwards campaign parameters (UTM).

Improved

Reports: free period selection and hourly resolution

Scheduled reports can now use any reporting period independent of the sending rhythm — and single-day reports show clicks and conversions per hour, with real hourly data from Google, Meta, and Microsoft.

Improved

Noticeably faster loading

Dashboards and views appear instantly from a smart cache and refresh in the background — with an honest "as of X minutes ago" badge instead of silently stale data.

Improved

Integrations page reorganized

Search, categories as dedicated sections, clear status colors (green = connected, red = problem), and a detail view per integration.

Improved

Plain language on connection errors

If connecting an integration fails, a readable message explains why — and one click opens a prefilled support ticket.

New

Public status page

At status.metricdash.app you can see live, at any time, whether all MetricDash systems are up — including the background jobs for reports and metrics.

New

Privacy-friendly web analytics

Rybbit, Plausible, and Umami can now be connected directly — cookieless session, channel, and page data, visible in the dashboard and the client portal.

A lot of clients want to move away from cookie banners — so these three privacy tools were the logical next step.

New

Matomo, Pirsch, and Fathom added

The catalog grows by three more web analytics tools: Matomo as the established open-source option with full data ownership, Pirsch cookieless with hosting in Germany, and Fathom as lightweight, cookieless cloud analytics. Their sessions, channels, and pages appear in the dashboard and the client portal.

New

Feedback straight from the dashboard

A new in-app feedback system: report requests and bugs in one click, without leaving the interface.

In the alpha, your feedback is the roadmap — so we wanted the path to it to be as short as possible.

Improved

Shareable report pages with your logo

Reports are now frozen snapshots behind a shareable link — the numbers stay stable, and the report pages carry your agency logo.

New

PageSpeed monitoring

MetricDash measures your pages twice a day — for mobile and desktop, with full history instead of a single snapshot.

Improved

Longer login sessions

You stay signed in for longer and have to log back in far less often.

Short sessionsStay signed in far longer

New

Budget alerts & spend anomalies

Automatic warnings at 80% and 100% of budget — plus detection of unusual spend spikes.

New

Lead tracking via webhook

Capture leads directly through a webhook and see cost per lead right next to your campaign data.

NewSpotlight

The first platform integrations

Google Ads (including MCC manager accounts), Meta Ads, Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console — the launch catalog over the official APIs.
